Super app, just needs a tweak or two.
I have worked out with TRX with a personal trainer for some time, so I bought my own straps and this app to use while on holidays. Im glad I did, its great. It is easy to customize your own workout by choosing from the many exercises and deciding how long each exercise and each rest period will last. The moves are clearly demonstrated in video before and during each set.
You can format your workout by circle, traditional, Tabata or HIIT training. There should be an explanation of what these terms mean for people who dont know. There should also be a brief "intro to TRX" section with tips on how to use it.
Also, many of the exercises are done on only one side of the body at a time. For example, pistol squats or side planks. The app should know that when you choose to do one set of these moves, they actually need to be done twice, once on each side. As it is now, if you select one set, you will only exercise one leg. Today I wanted to do three sets of each move and I had to work through the rest periods in order to be symmetrical. Which I guess Ill keep doing until they fix it, because Ill keep using this app for the awesome, portable, customizable workout!
